JOIN THE V.I.P. TEAM, WHERE EVERY ATHLETE IS A STAR!

V.I.P. Cheer teams are comprised of members from various schools with the primary focus on performance and competition. Divisions for teams are determined by age and skill level and will compete at local, regional, and national competitions.

As with competitive team sports, a commitment from both athlete and the athlete’s parents are required. At V.I.P. we pride ourselves in developing the “whole” cheerleader. We want each athlete to understand a higher purpose in participating in our cheer teams. Learning how to work as a team, overcome obstacles, breakthrough fears, and have fun are our main objectives.

2023-2024 Season All Star Cheer Teams:

Tiny TycoonS (All-Star Prep Level 1)

Birth years 2016-2018
Practice once a week for 90 minutes
Competes at local competitions (within 2 hrs) and performs at local events
Team placement required
Recommended skills: cartwheel, roundoff, handstand, bridge kickover

A Listers (All-Star Prep Level 1)

Birth years 2008-2015
Practice twice a week for 90 minutes (3 hours total), plus a recommended 1 hour tumbling class
Competes at local competitions (within 2 hrs) and performs at local events
Team placement required
Recommended skills: cartwheel, roundoff, handstand, bridge kickover

Celebrity (All-Star Elite Level 1)

Birth years 2008-2015
Practice twice a week for 1.5 hours plus a required weekly tumbling class (4 hours total)
Competes at travel competitions and may perform at local events
Required skills: front walkover and back walkover
2022 & 2023 Regional Summit bid recipient; 2024 D2 Summit and All Star Worlds bid recipient

Icons (All-Star Elite Level 2)

Birth years 2008-2015
Practice twice a week for 2 hours plus a required weekly tumbling class (5 hours total)
Competes at travel competitions and may perform at local events
2021 Summit bid recipient; 2022 D2 Summit bid recipient (J2); 2023 Regional Summit bid recipient; 2024 All Star Worlds bid recipient
Required skills: roundoff back handspring, back walkover back handspring
