JOIN THE V.I.P. TEAM, WHERE EVERY ATHLETE IS A STAR!

V.I.P. Cheer teams are comprised of members from various schools with the primary focus on performance and competition. Divisions for teams are determined by age and skill level and will compete at local, regional, and national competitions. Teams & levels offered each year vary based on the skill level of athletes who attend team placements

As with competitive team sports, a commitment from both athlete and the athlete’s parents are required. At V.I.P. we pride ourselves in developing the “whole” cheerleader. We want each athlete to understand a higher purpose in participating in our cheer teams. Learning how to work as a team, overcome obstacles, breakthrough fears, and have fun are our main objectives.

Tiny Starlights - Tiny Novice Level 1
- Performance team for beginners ages 4-7
- No minimum tumbling requirements

Showstoppers - Mini Novice Level 1
- Performance team for beginners ages 6-8 and those advancing from Tiny Starlights
- Preferred tumbling skills: cartwheel and forward roll
- Great for Pre Hot Shots, Hot Shots, and Aces

A-Listers - Youth Prep Level 1
- Developmental competitive team for ages 7-13
- Great for Aces, Bronze, and Silver athletes!

Celebrity - Elite Level 1

Icons - Elite Level 2

Tumbling Classes: Classes are progressive—athletes must show proficiency in required skills before progressing to the next level‍ ‍

Level 1: bridge kickover, front & back walkovers, Valdez, and connected skills. Prerequisite skills: cartwheel, forward roll, roundoff, and bridge
Level 2: Front and back handsprings & connected skills; perfecting Level 1 skills
Level 3: Tucks, aerials, & connected skills; perfecting advanced Level 2 skills
Level 4: Standing tucks, layouts, whips, & connected skills, beginning twisting
